As the sun sets on our first year, Tombstone Trading Company stands proud, looking back at the journey that started with a simple yet bold vision: to move our established gun shop from it’s location of 23 years to a new home in Ware, Massachusetts. Here’s to marking our first anniversary with stories of growth, community, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
A Year of Milestones
When we decided to leave our Brookfield location, home to the company for 23 years, and move to Ware, MA it did not come without the common anxieties that a business move can create. Will our customers follow us to a new location? Is changing locations the best thing for an established company to do?
One year after our move, we can answer with a resounding YES, moving our gun shop to Ware was the right choice! From our grand opening on December 9th, 2023 to today, we have been thrilled with the response to our move. Our existing customers did indeed follow us to Ware and we’ve made a whole slew of new friends and customers over the last year.
Our journey to Ware wasn’t just about selling more firearms, it was about creating an experience that can’t be had in any other gun shop in Massachusetts. From the moment someone pulls into the parking lot, they know this isn’t your average gun shop. Once they step into the building, they get to take part in our amazing customer service where we treat everyone with the respect they deserve, regardless of firearm experience.
We’ve always told folks that we sell everything from black powder to machine guns and we do! This year though, we expanded the variety of our product line. We’ve always been known for the extensive selection of military surplus and collectible firearms but we have greatly increased the breadth of the new firearms we carried. We also aim have some of the lowest ammunition prices in the state on popular calibers like 9mm and .223 and 5.56.
We also wanted to be part of the community, here in Ware. Right from the start. we raised over $3500 for the Ware Police and Fire Unions to help them with their community outreach programs.
None of this would have been possible without you – our customers, and our amazing Tombstone Trading Company team. Your support, feedback, and shared stories have been the horses pulling our wagon! Here’s to many more years in Ware!
